Homework Routines

Homework in the Pine Class

Literacy & Spellings: - These will be set on Monday, with 10 words to learn and a short activity, and should be handed in on Friday. There will be a spelling test on Friday.  

Maths: - This will be set, in the children's homework books, on Friday and should be handed in on Monday. Other activities which also should be revised are all times tables facts and mental calculations for addition and subtraction.  

Reading: - All children in Year 4 and 5 should continue to read their school reading book as often as possible. A daily 10-15 minute session at a regular time is ideal. Don't forget that reading logs are collected in every Monday to be checked by an adult.
