What is Baston Kids Club?

The aim of BASTON KIDS CLUB is to provide flexible, affordable, high quality childcare to the local community. To provide children with a relaxed environment where they can play and make new friends.

BASTON KIDS CLUB is a registered charity, a voluntary organisation with a management committee made up of parents whose children attend the club. The current Chair is Anita Human. We employ a team of suitably qualified staff to perform the day to day running operations of the club.

BASTON KIDS CLUB provides OFSTED approved childcare for up to 24 children between the ages of 3 and 11 and is open to all children within the local community. We have been operating from within Baston Primary School since June 2004 and received a "GOOD" rating in its OFSTED inspection in August 2005.

Baston Kids Club - Term time sessions:

Breakfast club

Opening hours : 7:30 am to 8:50am
Price : £4.10

Breakfast club is open every morning during term time. A breakfast of cereals, toast and juice is included within the price. Children are escorted into the reception classroom / into the playground to line up and supervised until 8:50am.

After school club:

Opening hours: 3:15 to 6:00pm
Price : £3.50 - 3.15 pm to 4.30 pm; £7.10 - 3.15 pm to 6.00 pm

Reception and Class 1 children are collected from their classroom and escorted to club. A drink and a biscuit and / or piece of fruit are included within the price. A variety of fun actives are provided for the children to participate in including: games, art and crafts, baking and dancing. Children are also provided with an environment conducive to relaxation and play with videos and computer games available.

Baston Kids Club - Holiday time sessions:

Opening hours : 8:00am to 6:00pm

Price : £11.80 - 8.00 am to 1.00 pm OR 1.00 pm to 6.00 pm;
£21.25 - 8.00 am to 6.00 pm

Holiday club seeks to provide a variety of structured activities and free play sessions to ensure that children enjoy their days with us. Days are given themes around which activities are based e.g. Harry Potter, Kings & Queens and Lion King. Our "Crazy Craft" sessions are always very popular and are run throughout each holiday period.

Our holiday club operates in all school holidays, with the exception of the first 2 weeks on the school summer break.
