On Friday 25th September, year 6 hosted a coffee morning in aid of MacMillan Cancer Support. The event saw a large turnout of people from the local community who all came to support the worthy cause.

The children in year 6 all worked very hard to cater to all of their customers by serving hot drinks and cake and even providing table service! There were plenty of scrumptious cakes provided by children, parents and staff from throughout the school – some of which showcased some excellent home baking.

We are sure that everyone who attended will agree that the event was a huge success and the record-breaking total of £583.29 reflects this. However, this was also displayed in the teamwork which was shown by all who helped with the coffee morning – children and adults alike.
