On Thursday 5th November, we celebrated Outdoor Classroom Day and linked this to our learning about Diwali.

After learning about the story of Rama and Sita, we took on the challenge of making some Diya lamps. We sat outside and carefully moulded the clay into the correct shape. Once this was completed, we went on a search for some natural materials to mark make some patterns into the clay.

The lamps turned out really well and we are looking forward to painting them next week!
