CLOSURE OF SCHOOL ON THURSDAY, 2ND MAY 2013

Once again, we have been advised by South Kesteven District Council that they are going to use Baston CE Primary School as a Polling Station for Lincolnshire County Council Elections on Thursday, 2nd May 2013.

Unfortunately, school will be closed all day as members of the public will have access to restricted parts of the building which will cause safeguarding issues.

Pupils will be set specific work to complete at home.  On this occasion, Activ8, will not be able to provide childcare.  

We have written to SKDC requesting that they find an alternative venue for voting due to the disruption such a closure causes.  We have yet to receive a response from them.  However, we wish to give parents adequate notice to enable them to put childcare provisions in place, if necessary.
