Sunday - maths homework due

Spelling check on Friday

Each Saturday, maths and spelling homework is set on MyMaths and SpellingShed.  MyMaths provides practice of the topics covered in lessons during the week just gone and homework is due the following sunday.  Hopefully, this will allow children 2 weekends to complete the work.  SpellingShed provides spelling games and activities to help children prepare for the test on Friday each week.  Children should have all their login details inside their reading records.  Please ask if you would like a copy of these. 

We also ask that you read your child's RWI book with them three times a week for fluency, in addition to the reading they will do with adults in school.  If you read with your child, or they read for themselves (any book), please sign in their reading record and your child could win a little reward!

We also ask that children use their Times Tables Rockstars logins to practise at home at least once a week. They are invited to work through this at their own pace.
