We currently have a vacancy for a Co-opted Governor:

    Co-opted Governor

We are a vibrant and inclusive church school at the heart of our community. Our vision is:

    “Preparing the way…”

We aspire to be an inspirationalchallenging and inclusive church school at the heart of our community. Through the love of God and shared values, we seek to provide a happy, safe and creative learning environment where everyone reaches their full potential and thrives as a global citizen.

We are looking for an individual who is committed, enjoys working as a team and is passionate about children’s education, to join the Baston Church of England Primary School’s Governing Board as a Co-opted Governor.

A co-opted governor is a member of a school’s governing body who is appointed by the governing board itself, rather than elected by parents, staff, or the local authority. They are chosen because they bring specific skills, experience, or expertise that the governing body needs - for example, in areas like education, finance, HR, legal matters, or community links.

If you would like to apply to become a Governor at our school please send a short statement about yourself via email to our Chair of Governors, Mrs Groutage at enquiries@baston.lincs.sch.uk

As we are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, the successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
