St John the Baptist Church
The school has very close links with St John the Baptist Church, Reverend Carolyn Bailey leads our Collective Worship in school regularly as well as spending some time in each class. KS2 pupils attend a number of services during the year to which parents are invited to join. KS1 pupils visit the church for Godly Play twice a year, lead by Reverend Bailey.
We feel it is very important in each child's personal journey at Baston that they have a wealth of opportunities and experiences. Regularly visiting our Church helps to deepen understanding of the importance of reflection and worship and provides experiences to promote curiosity.

Jan 2019 - Our EYFS class visited the church for their first session of Godly Play, they focused on the story of Moses and had great fun doing lots of different activities.
